I think using a full image and not cutting the model out looks great, it makes the magazine look authentic and proffessional. The models expression and the wallpaper look mellow which fits really well with your genre. I think the title font looks really good, the cover lines could be a little bigger. Overall it looks great, very proffessional.
I really think that the colour schemes go well with your genre of magazine and look really good! The simplicity of the front cover works brilliantly along with the fact you havn't cut out your model. I think you cauld make your mast head a little bigger to grab the audiences attention, but it looks really good anyway! :)
